ABOUT ME

I have been passionate about storytelling for my whole life. I started as an actor and singer (and talkative child!)
I eventually fell in love with the written word and studied playwriting, screenwriting, and finally fiction novel writing.
I discovered a love for editing and collaborating with other writers as a film student. For the past 10 years, I have worked with fiction authors at all stages of their writing and with a variety of publishing goals to find the best versions of their stories.
I have worked on pieces that have won or been shortlisted for The Independent Publishers Book Awards, The Eric Hoffer Book Awards, The Forest of Reading White Pine Award, The SCBWI Florida Rising Kite Contest, The PAGE Awards Screenwriting Contest, among others.
I continue to be a writer, creating genre fiction books and the text for graphic stories. I understand the writing process from all sides and strive to not only help writers to create their ultimate draft, but also to grow in their craft and build a lasting career.
I am also the co-owner and co-creator of StoryCraft, a writing education company devoted to helping as many emerging writers as possible to better understand the craft and process of writing. StoryCraft currently offers the StoryCraft: Writing Your Novel Course and an accompanying StoryCraft: Writing Your Novel Workbook.
